Fri 03 Jul 26 - Lake Maraboon
15 to 28 Degrees and mostly clear (Pinching myself - is this winter?).
I went for an early morning walk along the shoreline of Lake Maraboon while Noel took Olli for a walk around the park, then we returned for breakfast and some domestic duties. We then drove 24 km into Emerald to finalise some paperwork for Mum at Services Australia, followed by an enjoyable morning brew at a cafe where Olli received some special attention with treats and lots of pats. Afterwards I took Olli for another walk, while Noel did some grocery shopping, then we returned to the van for a quiet and relaxing afternoon, on what became a hot afternoon. Later in the afternoon, I went for another walk along the lake, then Noel and I had an afternoon refreshment at the caravan park bar, where we chatted with another couple and enjoyed some live music. Just one drink each, and we returned to the van for dinner and a quiet night. All in all, it was a relaxing day.
