Fri 19 Jun 26 - Gladstone to Emu Park (Towed 156km)
17 Degrees and overcast in Gladstone, to 24 degrees, feeling much warmer, and clear at Emu Park.
After packing up this morning and saying goodbye to David and Wanda, owners of the caravan park where we have stayed when visiting Gladstone over the past five years, we called in to say goodbye to Mum then, after a few tears, we left for a couple of weeks on the Capricorn Coast. After a short distance we stopped at Mount Larcom for a coffee, then continued through Rockhampton to the Tasman Holiday Park at Emu Park. We were setup by 1:30pm, then went for a short wander into Drakes supermarket in town to buy some essentials for lunch. The afternoon was filled with a short walk along the beach, then we drove into Yeppoon for a visit to Aunt Clara and Uncle Richie, Unlce Dave (on Mum's side), and cousin Fay visiting from Mackay. It was only a short visit, before we returned to Emu Park for a very relaxing evening and a lazy dinner - a very tasty Thai takeaway from the Thailicious food Van parked at the front gate. We're both looking forward to more of this wonderful weather, and the next 8 days at Emu Park.

| Mum thinking maybe she needs an Olli in her life. |

| Walk from the caravan park into Emu Park on a warm and sunny day |
 |
| Our stay at Tasman Holiday Park in Emu Park for the next 8 nights night - a nice large site with a concrete slab. We're parked just inside the front entrance, but it's very quiet. |

| An exciting first for Olli, his first visit to the beach and he loved it. We couldn't take him on the beach last year because he hadn't had his vaccinations |
 |
| One happy family at Emu Park |
