Day 4: Tue 26 May 26 - Goondiwindi

Tue 26 May 26 - Goondiwindi  (Rest Day)

15 to 25 Deg and mostly sunny with light winds - a beautiful day.

After a hectic lead up to leaving home, and 3 days back on the road again, we enjoyed a quiet day. It  started with a bit of cleaning and some washing, before we headed into town for coffee. Noel then peeled off to do some grocery shopping while I took Olli for a long walk (for him) around town and along the river levee. After lunch back at the van, I did some minor repairs on a stove top cover that had come loose, and then I went for a pleasant bike ride around town and to the botanic gardens. We were planning to continue north tomorrow with a detour to the Tara wetlands for 2 nights, but with heavy rain forecast over the next 48 hours, we considered staying here for 2 more nights, but decided we'll continue north towards Gladstone with no destination in mind. We'll stay flexible, and see how the weather unfolds.

A nice spot for a 2 night stay - quiet a lot of road noise during the day, but i didn't notice any over night
